About Academy of Maritime Education and Training University

Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) is a deemed university under the section 3 of UGC act 1956 and located in East Coast Road, Kanathur, Chennai. AMET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). AMET established in 1993. The Institute offers Engineering, Management, and Diploma programmes which is B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, MBA, BBA, and diploma. AMET assisting the deserving student for scholarships which is given by various Government Departments.  AMET received awards like India Shipping Sumit Awards, Edupreneur 2012 award, Sailor Award etc. The Institute Infrastructure is unique and facilities are excellent like Ship in Campus operating in the water, library facilities, well equipped, state of art Full Mission Ship the simulator in the campus Laboratories, facilities to develop through physical education residential and swimming pool facility, etc.,

Dear Student,

The application for the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET) University will be available online on the official website. You must fulfill all the eligibility requirements before filling the application process. The candidates can follow the given steps to apply for AMET Application Process:

  2. On the homepage, click on the link to "Apply Online"
  3. Register on the portal by entering your Name, Email ID, Contact Number, and Date of Birth.
  4. You will receive an OTP on your registered email & phone number. Enter the OTP to login.
